Great News!

On March 4, 2009, the City Council voted to approve the Trillium Creek project.

We’re excited to move forward in gathering a community to live at Trillium Creek. Homes will be located on 3 of 24 acres of redwood forested land in Arcata, California, near Humboldt State University and the Arcata Community Forest. Including eight home sites and a 17-acre permanent natural reserve including redwood forest and two creeks, the neighborhood will incorporate the highest community values that make Arcata a wonderful place to live.

Essential elements and intentions designed into the new neighborhood include:

* Healthy and stable community connections
* Multigenerational neighborhood
*17 acre permanent redwood forest and creek nature reserve
* Pedestrian and child friendly design; Walkable and bikeable to HSU and the Arcata Plaza
* Green building strategies
* Lifelong learning
* Global thriving
* Affordability
